Like a lot of Burnette's catalogue of work, it doesn't appear that Gimme You ever saw release on compact disc and it has long been out of print on vinyl. This is a real shame, because I would be thrilled to be able to hear these songs with the clarity of cd sound. It's a really great mix of driving Rockabilly and softer romantic ballads. Personal favorites are "I Don't Know Why," "Let the New Love Begin," and "Take You Around the World (In My Arms)."
