Comments from the Webmistress:
This is essentially a live album (and for that reason we'll excuse the various re-recordings) recorded in-studio in two days with no overdubs and no multi-tracking. The result is a superb sounding record that is a mix of new and old, originals and amazing covers (including Bob Dylan's "Everything Is Broken," Elvis Presley's "Big Hunk Of Love," Fleetwood Mac's "Oh Well," Dorsey Burnette's "It's Late," and The Everly Brothers' "Bye Bye Love") and it is easily one of the best albums of the year.
I do have one major complaint about this CD, however, and that is its length. At only 11 tracks and 43 minutes, it's too little a pay-off for fans who have waited 6 long years for a new Billy Burnette solo album.
