Fleetwood Mac's Christine McVie is credited with backing vocals on the album, although it doesn't specify which songs. She can be clearly heard on "It Ain't Over" and "Rock and Roll Lullaby," but it's possible that she contributed to other tracks as well.
Unlike some of Billy's other solo albums, it doesn't appear that Try Me ever saw release on compact disc (though some tracks appear on the Brother to Brother import). I have only ever been able to find it for sale on vinyl LP and was lucky enough to pick up a still sealed copy. I highly recommend this album for anybody who is interested in Billy's solo work. It's definitely one of his best.
